This CD is my
first release. It is actually a compilation of songs that were
composed throughout a number of years. This CD could have been
completed much sooner than it was but, for a number of
reasons, I just didn’t complete it until now.
There is nothing like the feeling a musician gets when he’s
playing along with other musicians. Especially when it sounds
good. It’s an experience all its own and one most
non-musicians could not relate to. So, when a musician does a
project almost completely by himself, it may be harder to
enjoy the experience. However, I did come to enjoy the
creative process significantly throughout the course of the
project. Also, since I was the primary person involved in the
project, I had a lot of freedom that I would not have had
otherwise, had I been collaborating with others.
Throughout the project, I tried to treat each song differently
and tried not to use the same formula either compositionally
or during the mix-down. This is harder than one would think
because when you have a finished song that sounds great, you
want the next one to turn out just as well, so you have more
of a tendency to veer towards what worked for you in the
previous song. Then you come to realize that the formula
doesn’t work well for the new song you’re working on, so then
you’re forced to try something different.
I did almost everything on this CD. The good side is that I
didn’t have to argue over what songs would go on the CD or the
song order or the mix. The down side is that it was a lot of
work. Just so you have some idea as to how much work was
involved in the creation of this CD, here’ a list:
All songs (Each and every instrument.) were composed and
arranged me. Every sour note is mine!
All songs were mixed down by me. So all of the crackles and
hisses may be blamed on me as well.
All songs were copyrighted in sheet music form and the sound
recordings were also copyrighted by me. So that I might make a
couple of extra bucks in publishing too!
The CD cover was designed by me. I didn’t take the original
picture but I’ll take credit for the rest.
The album notes were written by me. So the poor usage of the
English language is all my doing!
The Websites promoting the CD were designed by me. So what if
they have limited compatibility with most browsers?
All of the marketing and promotion (ethical and unethical) up
to this point was done by me.
All of the costs associated with the entire project and
process was financed by me. That’s why I’m single, poor and
have no prospects for a wife.
Therefore it would only be completely accurate to conclude
that anything that has either gone wrong or right with this CD
and it’s success or lack thereof will be entirely of my own
doing and I don’t have the luxury of having anyone else to
blame. However, if there is a lesson to be learned for myself
as well as others, then I would have to say that there’s no
limit to what one person is capable of. There is no knowing
what one person is capable of until one tries. I guess the
possibilities are endless. Maybe even to the point of
infinity. That’s why I dedicate this CD To Infinity.

life so miserable that he had no other choice than to try to
do something else for a living. Thanks for the inspiration.

Would Like to Thank:
God for the gift of music, Judy Crepeau (My Mother) for having
to listen to my songs over and over again and having enough
restraint to keep from strangling me, John H. Crepeau (My
Father) for giving me my first guitar, Leo J. Crepeau (My
Grandfather) for sharing music with me, Theresa Crepeau (My
Grandmother) for all of the letters and packages she sent
while I was in the Army, Mark Gallo (My Former Drummer) for
showing me how a musician should not be afraid to get up
anywhere or anytime and in front of anyone to play, Erick Rudi
(My Former Lead Singer and Bass Guitarist) for being the first
person I ever wrote songs with, Tim Costello (My Former
Keyboard Player) for suffering with me through some of the
worst gigs I have ever had and in some of the worst venues
ever, and thanks to everyone who has ever encouraged me,
appreciated me, fed me, clothed me, sheltered me, inspired me,
consoled me, worked with me, sat in a foxhole with me,
instructed me or made me laugh. As for the rest of you: You’re
all okay too, I guess.
Bob Craypoe Would Not Like to Thank: All of my previous
employers who abused me, mocked me or poorly paid me, all of
those teachers who abused me or mocked me, relatives who
abused me or mocked me, platoon sergeants who abused me or
mocked me, jealous musicians who mocked me due to their own
insecurities, co-workers who mocked me due to their own
insecurities, all of the doctors who could not properly
diagnose a schizophrenic when one is sitting right in front of
them, everyone who mocked or laughed at those in my family who
were schizophrenics, and all of the crab-asses and other nasty
people I’ve met throughout my life. To all of you: Thanks for
nuttin’!!!!!
This CD is dedicated to the memory of: Leo J. Crepeau,
Theresa Crepeau, and Mark Gallo, who died entirely too young
at the hands of someone who would rather rob and kill someone
than work for a living.
